The Flares are Mo Brown & Joey Moffett. A two piece rock band from Newry city in Northern Ireland. We formed in 2004 writing and recording are own material and recently recorded our first ep called "like no other", containing five tracks based on our influences. Everything from AC/DC to Oasis and are now setting about trying to promote our music and while doing this we are working on putting together our first album. Because of the lack of musicians in the area we have recorded our own backing tracks for bass and drums. The vocals and guitars are performed live. Our hopes are to generate enough interest in the music to add a few more members to the band from other areas and most importantly to build up a good fan base. |
